Summer time is a season filled with heat, long days, sunshine and abundance. This is the most yang time of year.

Summer is about growth, activity, connection, joy and creativity. Traditional Chinese medicine states that summer belongs to the fire element. Diane Joswick, L.Ac., MSOM states that " fire is symbolic of maximum activity or greatest yang, which means that it is a time of heat, outgoingness, and moving outward in nature and in our lives."

Summer is also associated with the the heart, small intestines and the tongue. Hence the time of connecting with others in joyful activity.

In this presentation you will learn the following:

    • What Traditional Chinese Medicine states about summer
    • How to balance you Yin and Yang during the summer
    • What imbalance in the summer looks like
    • Tips for keeping cool
